While not guaranteed upon completion, these raid exotics are each unique in their own right. Beyond their fascinating lore, these unusual guns are top-tier Destiny 2 exotic weapons worth adding to your arsenal.

Due to Destiny 2's rotating content, certain experiences like Crown of Sorrow (Tarrabah) may not be available. Check the Monument to Lost Lights in the Tower to purchase certain raid exotics.

10 Touch Of Malice – King's Fall

Destiny 2 Touch of Malice
  • Touch of Malice:
    • The final round in the magazine deals bonus damage, depleting your health. Rapidly defeating three targets restores health.
  • Charged With Blight:
    • Precision hits charge up a ball of Darkness. Hold reload and then fire to unleash a blight, temporarily blinding combatants.

Bungie has stated that Touch of Malice will be receiving significant buffs in Season 22, so it will likely not be in last for long.

Touch of Malice is a Scout Rifle with immense potential, depending on how quickly you're able to regenerate your health. This exotic allows you to continue firing shots at the cost of a small bit of your HP for each round.

The best way to continue shooting is by taking advantage of a Warlock Rift or Well of Radiance, the latter of which will heal you and improve your overall Damage Per Second (DPS). Make some room for this sleeping giant in your inventory and enjoy the utility of the Blight blinding effect.

9 Tarrabah – Crown Of Sorrow

A Hunter wields the Tarrabah Exotic SMG in Destiny 2.
  • Ravenous Beast :
    • Stores power when dealing or receiving damage.
    • Holding reload unleashes the beast when full.
  • Bottomless Appetite :
    • Dealing continuous damage extends the duration of Ravenous Beast.

Tarrabah is a fantastic PvP SMG and an excellent Solar weapon if you're looking to synergize with that subclass. Given how strong SMGs are in PvP, Tarrabah's effectiveness should come as little surprise.

Once you get rolling, it's exceptionally difficult to stop you due to Ravenous Beast's extra damage. While you obviously want to get kills, even maintaining damage via quick peak-and-shoot moments will be beneficial as it extends the uptime of Ravenous Beast.

8 Vex Mythoclast – Vault Of Glass

Destiny 2's Vex Mythoclast Exotic Fusion Rifle glimmering in the light.
  • Timeless Mythoclast :
    • This weapon fires full auto when in default firing mode.
  • Temporal Unlimiter :
    • Defeating targets builds Overcharge. Swap firing modes when fully Overcharged.
    • In alternative firing mode, hold the trigger to charge up and fire more powerful linear fusion shots.

Vex Mythoclast has always been a fabulous exotic since it was introduced as the first raid exotic to chase in the original Destiny. It has undergone various nerfs and balance changes, along with a complete rework in Destiny 2.

As it stands, Vex Mythoclast is one of the best Fusion Rifles for PvP and offers an extremely satisfying firing sound effect to boot. Disintegrating fellow guardians offers a wonderful visual effect, but more importantly builds Overcharge, so you can swap to LFR mode and dispatch targets at long range.

This incredible versatility gives Vex a bit of unpredictability when used to its potential.

7 One Thousand Voices – Last Wish

A Warlock prepares to fire the One Thousand Voices Exotic Fusion Rifle in Destiny 2.
  • Ahamkara's Eye :
    • Charging this weapon unleashes a giant continuous beam of death.
  • Unforeseen Repercussions :
    • This weapon's beam superheats its targets upon impact, causing delayed explosions.

One Thousand Voices boasts a special effect that blurs the line between fusion rifles and LFRs, though this exotic is categorized as the former. However, it fires a linear shot of an explosive plasma-like substance that decimates anything it touches.

The plasma explodes after a short delay and provides massive DPS for raid bosses like Riven, the gun's very source. While options like Rockets are usually better for DPS, there's no replicating the amazing effects this gun offers.

6 Anarchy – Scourge Of The Past

A Warlock wielding Anarchy, an Exotic Grenade Launcher in Destiny 2.
  • Arc Traps :
    • Grenades stick to surfaces and chain Arc bolts to other mines.

Quick and to the point, Anarchy is an amazing exotic choice despite the nerfs it endured. Its play style is a bit limited if you can't attach two grenades: one to a foe and one to another surface.

However, assuming you aren't dealing with a Servitor like Sepiks, then Anarchy will still put in a good shift. Unfortunately for those who love it, Anarchy is no longer a one-size-fits-all weapon and should be reserved for particular scenarios, but it's still very good at what it does.

5 Eyes Of Tomorrow – Deep Stone Crypt

The Eyes of Tomorrow Exotic Rocket Launcher in Destiny 2.
  • Eyes On All :
    • This weapon tracks and fires at multiple targets simultaneously.
  • Adaptive Ordnance :
    • Defeating 4 or more combatants in a single volley increases the damage for the next volley and refunds ammunition.

Eyes of Tomorrow offers flexibility as either a PvP or PvE option, typically excelling in Gambit. While it's no longer the menace it once was, it is a potent choice against both combatants and Guardians.

Locking on to targets is fairly responsive and there aren't many better rockets better for clearing a room, save for Gjallarhorn. If you need some Guardian kills, but you cannot aim to save your life, then your salvation is here in this rocket.

4 Legend Of Acrius – Eater Of Worlds

The Legend of Acrius Exotic Heavy Shotgun in Destiny 2.
  • Shock Blast : Fires blasts of high-damage Arc energy that over-penetrates enemies.
  • Long March: Detect enemies on your radar from farther away.

While Acrius leaves a lot to be desired in the way of reload speed, its fantastic exotic catalyst patches up some of its biggest glaring weak points. The catalyst improves Acrius so greatly that it's currently one of the best close-range DPS options available.

While there are relatively few boss encounters where you'll use the Legend of Acrius, it melts difficult foes like Ecthar from the Ghosts of the Deep dungeon. Given that Ecthar boasts total HP similar to raid bosses like Nezarec, you'll need as much DPS as possible, with Acrius happily obliging.

3 Collective Obligation – Vow Of The Disciple

The Collective Obligation Exotic Trace Rifle in Destiny 2.
  • Void Leech :
    • Leeches Void debuffs when damaging targets that are suppressed, weakened, or volatile.
    • Once charged, hold reload to swap firing modes. In this mode, this weapon applies the same Void debuffs that were leeched.
  • Umbral Sustenance :
    • This weapon's magazine is automatically reloaded when you gain Devour, a Void overshield, or become invisible.

Collective Obligation is a fantastic weapon to combine with powerful Void Exotics like Gyrfalcon's Hauberk. Use this Exotic Pulse Rifle with any Void subclass to turn it into a potent, debuff-spreading machine.

With the right combination of Fragments, you will maintain an incredible combination of safety via invisibility – and health regeneration if you use Devour – as well as offense via the debuffs. With its incredible perks and flexibility, this Pulse Rifle can slot into many of the best Void builds in Destiny 2.

2 Divinity – Garden Of Salvation

The Divinity Exotic Trace Rifle gleaming in Destiny 2.
  • Judgement :
    • Sustained damage with this weapon envelops the target in a field that weakens and stuns them. Strong against Overload Champions.
  • Penance :
    • Targets under the effects of Judgment long enough are struck with a burst of damage.

Divinity frequently finds itself at or near the top of many Destiny 2 Exotic tier lists given its great damage buff for its user and their fireteam. Despite the balance changes that altered its debuffing numbers, Divinity remains an extremely relevant support weapon.

Divinity still maintains a 30 percent damage buff for the user and a 15 percent damage buff for teammates.

When combined with S-tier Destiny 2 Exotic Armor like the Warlock's Cenotaph Mask, the sky is the limit for this weapon, especially in a raid or Grandmaster Nightfall setting.

1 Conditional Finality – Root Of Nightmares

Conditional Finality Exotic Shotgun with Root of Nightmares fauna behind it in Destiny 2 .
  • Split Decision :
    • Dual barrels split into Stasis and Solar damage.
  • Paracausal Pellets :
    • Landing nearly all Stasis pellets will freeze targets; landing nearly all Solar pellets will ignite targets.

Conditional Finality combines Stasis and Solar in an intimidating form that is only equaled by its effectiveness in combat. Your first pellet will always be Stasis and will freeze targets immediately while the second Solar pellet causes a Solar Ignition.

This shotgun's raw power and unique applications against Major and Boss-tier enemies are exceptional qualities, not to mention its usability in PvP.

With Shattering and Ignitions able to disrupt Champions, the versatility of Conditional Finality simply stands unmatched.
