One of the greatest new features in The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom is Link’s new Ultrahand ability. Now you can grab just about any item, even if it’s not magnetic! In Breath of the Wild, you were limited to magnetic items with Magnesis, but now you can grab a variety of items that glow when Ultrahand is equipped.

But the best part is that you can use Ultrahand to build. And with so many objects out there, you’re only limited to your imagination. With the addition of the Sky Islands to the places you can explore, with it has come aircraft that you can fly– and build! If you have Zonai devices like a fan, a balloon, wings, rockets, and others, you can build just about any aircraft like these ones listed below.

7 Star Wars X-Wing

Ready to fight with the Rebels? If yes, then this airplane is the build for you. The X-wing is unique for its symmetrical two-winged cruising capabilities that can transform in flight into a shocking four-winged fighter jet.

Since it is a fictional aircraft, the X-wing would probably not fly in real life, but it is possible in Legends of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom. One version has been built with blasters! Creativity knows no bounds when it comes to the Ultrahand.

6 Star Wars Tie Fighter

While the Imperial Tie Fighter is a real-world aerodynamic disaster, it is one of the fastest and most terrifying aircraft in the Star Wars universe. The single-pilot cockpit is a sphere with a large glass windshield held up by two connector poles that hold two large solar panel wings.

Even though it does not seem possible to fly an actual tie fighter, but this guy figured it out! This version is closer to a tie bomber and makes the most sense as it’s easier to balance and propel, but in Legends of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom, there is a lot more flexibility with physics than in real life.

5 Seaplane

Link is able to build vehicles and boats in addition to airplanes in Legends of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom.

You’ll need to build all three at different points throughout the game. But you could build an airplane that floats too!

The Seaplane is an airplane that takes off and lands on the surface of the water. It has two large floats that attach to the plane’s undercarriage.

You can probably get away with planks or logs for the flotation devices attached to a Zonai wing.

4 Star Trek’s USS Enterprise Starship

In 1966, the USS Enterprise Starship made its initial debut on TV and became a staple of elegant and fascinating fictional spacecraft. While not an actual plane, the starship is a unique challenge to replicate in Tears of the Kingdom.

Its sheer size will be the biggest challenge to get airborne and may require dozens of fans. Alternatively, you could build it on a sky island and float it down to earth. Build what no man has built before!

3 Marvel’s S.H.I.E.L.D. Helicarrier

Marvel SHIELD Helicarrier The Avengers

When Marvel’s Avengers first released, everyone was amazed and in awe of S.H.I.E.L.D.’s Helicarrier. Not only was Marvel assembling the biggest cinematic event of the generation, but they also didn’t hold back with the biggest floating-turned-flying aircraft imaginable.

The Helicarrier is another large aircraft, but one that could be a spectacle! Most likely you will have to build a miniature version of the gigantic Helicarrier. If you attempt to build it, you’ll need to start with a ton of planks and a lot more fans.

2 Northrop Grumman B-2 Spirit Stealth Bomber

Despite Northrum Grumman’s B-2 Spirit being known for its stealth capabilities, ironically it is one of the most famous aircraft in the modern day. Its sleek surface and sharp wings allow the plane to skim through the air and soar at incredible speeds.

The shape of the stealth bomber is already very similar to the Zonai Wing. This aircraft could be built by attaching a few Zonai Wings together and some planks to create the wings. Being mostly flat, this may be a hard plane to keep in the air, but if you can get it airborne, you’ll be able to soar in style.

1 Batman’s Batwing

Batman's black Batwing

Batman’s Batwing may not be as popular as the Batmobile, but In Tears of the Kingdom, it would be the coolest thing you fly in the whole game. If only Link could paint his creations, this airplane would need to be black and only flown at night, preferably during the blood moon.

There are several variations of the Batwing (or Batjet, or Batplane) so you can choose your favorite to build, but the iconic portion of the plane is the bat ears. Make sure to get those set into your design and make Batman proud!
