Elden Ring has been on store shelves for well over a year now, and during that time, Souls fans have used pretty much everything including dance mats, goldfish, and their own brainwaves to take down the game's toughest obstacles. It all became a competition to see who could beat the game with the most ridiculous peripherals they could, though only now has someone come forward to claim they've done it without being hit.

Twitch streamer DrDeComposing recently posted a clip of their No-Hit run of Elden Ring in which they use nothing but an electric saxophone to control their character. The clip itself is the final moments of the run, and shows DrDeComposing taking down both Radagaon of the Golden Order and the Elden Beast with impressive swiftness, with both fights only lasting a handful of seconds. Their character is also in the buff, so you know they know their way around Elden Ring like the back of their hand.

Of course, nowadays an Elden Ring streamer beating the game with a musical instrument is pretty standard, but DrDeComposing claims to be the world's first person to beat the game with a non-traditional controller without getting hit. Loads of people have used weird things as controllers, but none of them have done it without getting hit at least once. DrDeComposing and their electric saxophone appear to be the first to accomplish the feat.

In other Elden Ring news, the game's latest update has thrown its PvP community into chaos. On top of changing a bunch of important features that effect PvP fights, FromSoftware also inexplicably brought back Dark Souls 3's infamous frontstab backstab that lets players backstab their opponents despite being in front of them.

As you can imagine, this change hasn't gone down well with Elden Ring fans that like to hop into the Colosseum for a few brawls. Some believe this will bring back the backstab fishing meta that plagued PvP in Dark Souls 3, while others just aren't too pleased about the janky animation that accompany the backstabs now. Whatever your opinion, given how infrequently FromSoftware actually rolls out updates these days, it seems like it's here to stay for a decent amount of time.
