In order to make it through the once-verdant Terra Flora, you'll need to keep your wits about you by checking carefully and making sure you've the best Sparks equipped. The enemies here are stronger and tougher than any you'll have faced before, so here's a guide to smashing through the biome's main quests.

Updated on April 24, 2023, by Axel Bosso: We noticed that you're still looking for how to complete the Terra Flora section with your favourite plumbers and strange rabbits. That's why we are updating this part of our Mario Rabbids Sparks Of Hope walkthrough to keep it fresh and in the best version possible for you.

Main Missions: Stay On Track

The train the heroes take up to Mount Sprout in Sparks Of Hope

Boss Battle

Reward

Wiggler

Purified Darkmess Crystal

After speaking to train captain Sullivan, you'll now want to follow your map towards the Everbloom Tree. Hop into the cannon and blast yourselves across to the next mini-island, where in your path, you'll find plenty of armoured Goombas.

These resilient Goombas can't take damage until you dash at them to knock them over. Then, you can simply pick them up and chuck them out of bounds to wrap the battle up quickly.

Your next combat sequence, Foul Attraction, will be just outside the Everbloom Tree. Here you'll be up against Magnafoul (weak to Ooze attacks, resistant to Shock) and Stooges. You can also shoot water barrels to knock enemies out of bounds, which will get rid of them if their health is already depleted.

Luigi shoots a water barrel to get rid of a Magnafoul in Sparks Of Hope

The Heroes and Spark combinations we recommend for this fight are:

  • Luigi (with Pyrostar and Reflector)
  • Peach (with Toxiquake and Regenesis)
  • Rabbid Rosalina (with Ethering and any other spark of your choice).

How To Get Through The Everbloom Tree

After entering the tree, use Beep-O's Wave ability on the concrete block to reveal a circle-shaped key block, then scan him around the cliff's edge. When you uncover the ladder, climb it, cross over to the fast travel tube, and go through it.

Here you'll see the square-shaped key block. Blast the concrete blocks away with Beep-O, and use Beep-O's reveal power on the wall to find a ladder. Climb it and shatter the fragile wall, following the arrow on the boulder towards the bridge.

Cross and pick up the square-shaped block, then jump down and insert it into the square key slot. Pick up the circle key and go back to the circle key slot, repeating the process here.

Beep-O can be used on triangle-shaped floor tiles to strengthen purple bridges for you to cross over. Sometimes these affect two bridges, toggling between them.

Luigi uses Beep-O on floor triangles, which can be interacted with to strengthen purple bridges in Sparks of Hope

Before meeting warden Bea and her useful non-combat Spark, Drizzle, you'll need to clear the Ooze In the Everbloom battle. Here, you'll be up against Gust-sensitive Oozers and Ooxe-phobic Magnafoul.

You'll want to keep ahold of Toxiquake, but maybe bring along Zephyrstar and Zephyrquake as well as your favourite defensive or stealth Sparks, such as Exosphere.

After defeating them, you'll meet Terra Flora's warden Bea and her companion Spark, Drizzle. This helpful Spark will upgrade Beep-O's Wave ability to make it possible for you to grow vine bridges by hitting your Wave button repeatedly. Next, continue toward Mount Sprout via Grand Central Station courtesy of Captain Sullivan, using Beep-o where needed to build vine bridges.

How To Defeat Wiggler

The Wiggler runs alongside the Train, with his Darkmess eyes vulnerable to be shot by the Heroes in Sparks Of Hope

To get the best of Wiggler, you'll need to shoot 16 Darkmess eyes that will appear along his body. You have only 12 turns to shoot them all before you automatically lose, so you won't want to waste a single move.

For this lengthy match, we recommend the following ranged or multiple-hitter Heroes and Spark combos to ensure you have a strong offence as well as the ability to protect and heal:

  • Bowser (with Ethering and Electroid)
  • Rabbid Luigi (with Reflector and Pyrostar)
  • Peach (with Zephyrquake and Regenesis)

Rabbid Luigi can hit three eyes in one throw, Bowser's Bowzooka can take out a whole swathe of eyes and foes alike, and Peach's Shield ability will protect you from Super-Effects whilst you focus on Wiggler.

As with all boss battles in this game, it won't do you much good to clear the existing enemies too quickly. Teleportation portals will simply spawn and spit out new ones, so focus on staying behind cover and healing up with Super-Mushrooms whenever possible.

Ethering is a vital spark that acts as an extra life state if used properly, shielding you from your foes' vision for three turns and allowing you to deal damage without being targeted.

Main Missions: Uncork The Volcano

Boss Battle

Darkmess Dams

Pulser (Spark); Purified Darkmess Crystal

Enter Mount Sprout and navigate the pathways. Watch out for roaming Magnafouls, defeating them using Toxiquake as in past battles.

Use Beep-O on a wall after being directed there by a boulder to reveal and climb a ladder. Next, break the fragile wall, dash at the egg, and pick it up.

Carry it up the travel tube, then use your newly-upgraded Wave ability to make the bridge grow. Stand at a good vantage point on the bridge and throw the egg at the Darkmess Eye blocking your path. Continue down the bridge and go up the ladder, using Wave on the thorns to destroy them before crossing a stone bridge.

Bowser gets rid of the Darkmess thorns blocking the Heroes' way up the volcano in Sparks Of Hope

You'll see two stone buttons on the floor. Knock down the first half of the stone bridge in front of you, and use Beep-O to reveal a yellow bridge. Cross it, knock down the other half of the stone bridge, and pull the block back over to rest on the blue button and clear one set of thorns. Cross back over and climb the ladder, using Beep-O to reveal a crate. Now, push it over the side, go back down to it, and drag it over the other button.

Proceed ahead, clear the thorns with Beep-O by tapping the Wave button repeatedly, then turn around and go up the travel tube. Here you'll want to climb the ladder, grow the bridge to save yourself some time later, and then turn around and go up the next ladder.

You'll now battle some more Armoured Goombas in a battle called Metalheads, accompanied this time by Lone Wolves. Once again, dash at the Goombas to knock them over and throw them out of bounds.

For the next puzzle, you'll want to cover all the spouts of water with blocks and stones. Follow the drag pathway on the floor to suss out where to drag and drop crates, being sure to use Beep-O on the larger blocks to move them up and down or side to side respectively.

How To Get Pulser And Destroy The Dams

The battleground for the last boss battle where you need to break the dams in Mario + Rabbids: Sparks Of Hope

Now, you'll need to release the trapped water to restore Terra Flora's water volcano and retrieve the team-reviving Spark, Pulser, in the process.

To destroy the three Darkmess Dams, you'll want to pick up explosive Vials from the ground nearby some large cauldrons dotted across the map, throwing one at each dam to break it. You'll be impeded in no small way by Sqauashettes, who are weak to Frostbite attacks.

Enlist the following Sparks and Heroes for the task:

  • Rabbid Rosalina (with Ethering and Ooze Master)
  • Edge (with Exosphere and Cryoblide)
  • Peach (with Reflector and Electroid)

Rabbid Rosalina's Ennui ability is a game-changer, allowing her to totally disable any enemies within range until they take damage. By completing a side quest to retrieve Ooze Master, you'll be able to spawn a helpful Oozer to attack your enemies for you, incapacitating them to a degree by restricting their weapons and abilities.

By keeping your Heroes evenly spread out, you can effectively destroy all dams quickly with the help of jumping platforms and Team Jumping.
