After completing Pikmin 4's tutorial, you'll gain access to the Sun-Speckled Terrace. Once here, the Hectic Hollows is one of the first caves you can access. While there aren't many treasures in this cave, every last bit of Sparklium counts. There's also one castaway in this cave, making it well worth your time.
The lack of beasts in this cave allows for the swift recovery of the castaway and treasure. Use this time to practice using both Pikmin and Oatchi to take down enemies effectively. This cave also has a lot of Ice Pikmin, which you'll need to reach certain caves and treasures in the Sun-Speckled Terrace.
Sublevel 1
This sublevel has five enemies, all of which are Bulborbs. Before fighting the big Bulborb, try gathering all ten Ice Pikmin here first.
There are five Ice Pikmin waiting to be plucked in the north tunnel connected to the pond, three Ice Pikmin fighting Dwarf Red Bulborbs in the southeast room, and two Ice Pikmin pushing the bag in that same room.
With your newly acquired Ice Pikmin army, rushing into the Bulborb with Oatchi will end the fight quickly.

Sublevel 2
Sublevel two only has one enemy to look out for, a Tusked Blowhog. Wait for the enemy to try and charge you, then rush into it as it recovers.
After you eliminate this threat, you're free to collect the treasure and castaway at your leisure. Some of the vases here contain raw materials and Ice Pikmin, so be sure to destroy them.
