Player stats shared by Respawn Entertainment earlier in the week reveal that Star Wars Jedi: Survivor's most popular stance is the Single saber, while the least popular is somehow the Crossguard.

It's been more than a month since Star Wars Jedi: Survivor launched and to celebrate that fact, Respawn shared some interesting statistics from the community's time with the game so far, revealing that everyone has boring fashion choices and that nearly 500 players were taken down by a joke boss. The stats also highlighted the most and least popular lightsaber stances and the results are pretty surprising.

According to these statistics, the most popular lightsaber stance of them all was the one you start the game with - the Single blade stance. Respawn's data shows that 31 percent of all lightsaber use has been with the Single blade, followed closely by Dual Wield at 29 percent. Then there's Double-Bladed at 25 percent, followed by a massive drop with the Blaster stance getting 8 percent and the Crossguard unfortunately at the bottom with only 7 percent. You're all sleeping on Survivor's two most interesting stances.

As wild as these stats may seem, it does make some sense when you start to consider some of the factors. The Single saber stance is the first one you get in the game and one that you'll likely spend most of the first half of the game using, getting used to, and upgrading. That means that a lot of players, even when they encounter the new and more interesting stances, are likely to keep a hold of the Single stance as they're used to.

Meanwhile, the Crossguard and Blaster stances being so comparatively unpopular is likely due to the fact that they're unlocked towards the middle of the game, which means that they get half the amount of playtime that the Single, Double-bladed, and Dual Wield stances get. Combine that with them being a lot more complicated and hard to get used to and it suddenly makes a lot more sense why they're ranked so low.

Interestingly, these stats seem to go against what many players were saying just after Jedi: Survivor had launched. A popular post on the Star Wars Jedi subreddit revealed that most players were using the Dual Wield and Blaster stances the most, with the Single blade barely getting a mention at all. Granted, that's only representative of a small number of players who were discussing their favourite stances and not the most-used, but it still makes the Single stance being so popular a bit of a surprise.
