Unlike most Masters sets, Commander Masters also include pre-constructed Commander decks for new players to play. The decks feature new cards to Magic: The Gathering and a plethora of reprints from throughout the game's history. The decks all have a fair share of powerful cards of varying values in them.

Enduring Enchantments is built around enchantments and enchantment creatures. Commonly referred to as "Enchantress" decks, the amount of solid enchantments available in the format is plentiful due to the popularity of the strategy. Enduring Enchantments has solid reprints within the list, with some previously expensive and others in danger of being costly had they not been reprinted.

10 Sanctum Weaver ($2.00)

One of the best mana dorks for any enchantment deck, Sanctum Weaver can tap for an absurd amount of mana if you control a lot of enchantments. Due to its strength, the card is very valuable, and a reprint is very much appreciated so more fans of enchantments can have access to it.

Even though it only taps for one specific color, since enchantress decks in particular practically only play enchantments, Sanctum Weaver can tap for a ton of mana late game, especially if you have ways to tap and untap it - which can make for a plethora of infinite combos.

9 Sythis, Harvest's Hand ($2.10)

Sythis, Harvest's Hand is one of the strongest enchantments there are. It's a solid commander in its own right, and does just about everything you'd want to be doing in an enchantress deck. Due to how well it slots into any deck that runs enchantments, the card is prone to eventually being expensive without reprints.

It had previously only appeared in Modern Horizons 2, and without a reprint, the price tag would likely wound up rather high. Thanks to its appearance in Enduring Enchantments, it's much easier to obtain for prospective enchantment players.

8 Herald Of The Pantheon ($2.20)

Cards that discount your main card type are always going to be good and tend to hold some value. Herald Of The Pantheon is one of those cards. It discounts all your enchantment spells by one mana, which also includes enchantment creatures to make them even easier to hit the battlefield.

Although the life gain effect is minor, it is still a nice added bonus of an effect to make sure your life stays at the higher levels. Herald Of The Pantheon is very easy to cast, letting you get it down on the battlefield quickly to take advantage of its effect as early as turn one.

7 Cunning Rhetoric ($3.00)

Cunning Rhetoric is an excellent way to dissuade your opponents from attacking into you. It turns any attempts to attack into stealing cards from the top of their library. This can cause an opponent to potentially lose one of the most important cards of their deck.

Even though Cunning Rhetoric doesn't let you cast it for free, it does let you use any color of mana to play those cards. It even lets you play lands you exile as well, helping act as pseudo-ramp if a land is hit to make sure you don't miss a land drop.

6 Starfield Mystic ($3.00)

MTG Starfield Mystic card and art background

Starfield Mystic is a phenomenal card and one that was starting to rise up in price. Due to how easy it is to cast, you could start taking advantage of the discounts it gives your enchantments right away. If you're playing a deck that sacrifices its enchantments (something that Enduring Enchantments is built around) it's even better as it becomes much harder to remove in combat.

Starfield Mystic's only other printing prior to Commander Masters was in Core Set 2020, so it is nice to gain access to a valuable card in a precon with other strong cards within it.

5 Heliod, God Of The Sun ($2.00)

Heliod God of the Sun

Despite its simple effect, Heliod, God Of The Sun is a great card with good value. It being indestructible makes it much harder to remove through most means, and vigilance is a nice bonus to give creatures.

Where Heliod, God Of The Sun shines is its ability to create 2/1 enchantment creature tokens. Not only does this give you a body on the battlefield, but it also gives you all of your triggers when an enchantment enters the battlefield. You can use this effect at instant speed, allowing you to keep mana up for interaction and then dump it into Heliod, God Of The Sun's effect before your turn comes back around.

4 Setessan Champion ($4.00)

Prior to Commander Masters, Setessan Champion was only seen in the Theros Beyond Death set. Like many strong enchantress cards, it draws a card whenever an enchantment enters the battlefield, but also quickly grows its stats as it gets a +1/+1 counter as well.

Even though it costs three mana, the effect is more than worth it. In enchantment decks, you want as much card draw as possible to make sure you never run out of cards in your hand. Setessan Champion is one of the best ways to do this and is part of the reason why it's so valuable.

3 Grasp Of Fate ($6.99)

MTG Grasp Of Fate card and art background

Grasp Of Fate is one of the best variants of an enchantment that exiles a permanent until it leaves the battlefield. Most of them only target one permanent, but Grasp Of Fate lets you target a permanent for each opponent. Most of the time, cards like this are the primary ways you will be removing creatures as it triggers your constellation effects.

Grasp Of Fate was rising up in price, only appearing in Commander 2015 and Mystery Boosters prior to Commander Masters. It is one of the best enchantment-based removal spells in the format and is a very good include in any enchantment deck, not just Enduring Enchanments.

2 Starfield Of Nyx ($11.99)

MTG Starfield Of Nyx card and art background

Starfield of Nyx is very valuable, and before Commander Masters had only appeared in 2015's Magic Origins. It is a way to practically guarantee a removed enchantment is not going to stay removed for long. It constantly brings enchantments back from the graveyard, which can also cheat out ones that cost a lot of mana for free. When paired with a powerful enchantment like Imniscience Starfield Of Nyx becomes incredible.

RELATED: Magic: The Gathering – The Best Common Cards In Commander Masters

It does make all other enchantments into creatures if you have five or more. This can be both a downside or beneficial depending on the board state, but it's the first effect that is the main attraction for Starfield Of Nyx which is what makes it so sought after.

1 Dryad Of The Ilysian Grove ($11.99)

Dryad of the Ilysian Grove

Dryad Of The Illysian Grove is a staple of multi-colored decks and is often included in any deck that can play green cards and is three or more colors. Being able to play an extra land is already strong, but also making them every basic land type is fantastic. This means that they can be tapped for any color of mana. It can make non-mana-producing utility lands into ones that can be used to produce mana when need be.

Dryad Of The Illysian Grove lets you make sure that you can only cast spells if you have enough mana and not have to worry about not having specific colors so the spells stay stuck in your hand. It is also an enchantment creature, so it benefits from the plethora of enchantment support available in the game.
