Jonathan Majors who is mostly known for his role as Kang the Conqueror in the Marvel Cinematic Universe has been arrested on charges of strangulation, assault, and harassment in New York City. A spokesperson representing the Deputy Commissioner of Public Information at the New York Police Department recently confirmed the arrest, noting that officers responded to an emergency call originating from an apartment located near West 22nd Street and 8th Avenue.

According to the police report, a 33-year-old male was involved in a domestic dispute with a 30-year-old female. The victim informed police that she was assaulted and officers placed Majors into custody without further incident. The victim sustained minor injuries to her head and neck and was taken to a nearby hospital where she remains in stable condition. The nature of the relationship between Majors and the victim is currently unknown.

“On Saturday, March 25, 2023 at approximately 11:14 hours, police responded to a 911 call inside of an apartment located in the vicinity of West 22nd Street and 8th Avenue, within the confines of the 10 Precinct,” the official statement reads. “The victim sustained minor injuries to her head and neck and was removed to an area hospital in stable condition.”

A representative of Majors later issued a statement to IGN, claiming the actor was innocent of any wrongdoing. "He has done nothing wrong,” the statement reads. “We look forward to clearing his name and clearing this up."
